BIOGRAPHY:The
first line-up of the band dates back to September 1995.After a
long time of hard work, during which several changes of line-up
and stylistic evolutions took place, the band found its own
musical way. In September 1998, with a new and steady line-up,
the band turned his name into ALEA JACTA. So, trying to melt
the sound of the beginning with those of the Thrash / Speed
Metal in vein Kreator - Merciless, in order to create an
original and melodic death metal sound like Dissection, Sadist,
the band began to work at the new songs; some of them has been
recorded in April 1999 on the first EP only, called "Spirits in
Oblivion". So far the band has played some concerts in the
northern Italy with several bands, among them Cultus Sanguine
and MorningRise, permitting to reach a more vast audience. The
band has been split-up in jan 2001. Some of members now plays
in VEXED . |
